__TEETH, DULL, OR PLAQUE
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1458326
_Get some pau d' arco powder, some sage leaf (cooking sage) powder, and a little stevia powder or xylitol. Mix them together then put a large pinch on your toothpaste when you brush. All of the ingredients will help kill the damaging bacteria in the mouth, and sage leaf helps to whiten the teeth [and remove plaque, I think - LK].

__TESTERONE ISSUES, DHT ISSUES
https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1897839
_I've got a few questions im hoping you could clarify. Regarding DHT and hairloss, unfortunately I happen to find myself in this situation. My hair seems to be receding at the temples (its more prominent on the right temple) and its becoming quite noticeable. You recommended licorice root as a DHT Blocker. If taken internally, I use the sticks/roots by the way, what is the recommended dosage that would specifically be helpful towards this condition?
_You can use the licorice internally, but putting it directly at the source will provide more benefit.  If you want to use it internally then I recommend 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon 3 times daily before meals.  For topical use I recommend boiling a spoon full of the licorice root in a cup and a half of water for 15 minutes covered.  Then turn off the heat and allow it to cool.  Strain the tea in to a dark bottle and add about a half teaspoon of rubbing alcohol to the mix to help preserve it.  After washing your hair and towel drying put about a spoon full of the tea in to your palms and massage it in to your scalp focusing primarily on the temples and top of your head.  This will help block the DHT at the source of the problem.
_The reason I ask this is because im considering muscle building and correct me if im wrong, the more testosterone levels , the more DHT.
_This is not necessarily true.  Not al testosterone is converted in to DHT.  So a person can raise their testosterone without raising DHT at the same rate.
_Does this mean I would need to increase the dosage of licorice to counter-act the increased production of testosterone levels?
_No.  If you want to help maintain testosterone though you can also add nettle root, which blocks the conversion of testosterone in to estrogen.
_And again, is it possible to restore the already lost hair within my temple region - there still seems to be hair but its very faint
_Yes, as long as there is at least fuzz that means that the hair follicles are still alive and can regrow.  If there is nothing left then the follicles are dead and cannot be restored.
_Also, I've experienced chronic dandruff on top of my head for years so im assuming this is some sort of fungal infection. The sides and back of my head are okay. Even the texture of my hair on top of my head seems to be more dry and wavy compared to the rest of my hair. Does fungal infections affect the texture of hair? Any possible solution to this?
_Dandruff can be caused by the fungus Malassezia furfur.  There are several things you can do for this including adding antifungal oils to your shampoo such as thyme or eucalyptus oils and rinsing your hair with a weak organic acid solution such as vinegar or a weak citric acid solution.
_The acids can also be added to your shampoo to help balance out the pH.  Some dandruff shampoos also use salicylic acid (aspirin) to treat the dandruff.
_Dry hair can be from the alkaline nature of shampoos that damage the hair, or from hypothyroidism.
_Waves in hair are in part genetic but are also supposedly enhanced by increased dietary sulfur, which can increase hair keratin.
_My forehead also seems to be very oily compared the rest of my face. Especially in the mornings when I wake up, my forehead gleams with oil! Any reason why it localized in this area and what could possibly be done to correct this?
_Active testosterone and DHT stimulate the sebaceous glands, which are larger in certain areas such as the forehead.  So as long as you are trying to boost your testosterone you are going to increase this problem.  You can try the licorice root tea on your forehead though as well to calm down the sebaceous glands.
_Tribulus increases testosterone. Saw palmetto is a DHT blocker. You can also use nettle root as an aromatase inhibitor to block the conversion of testosterone in to estrogen.
__**TESTERONE
_What lowers testerone?
youtube.com/watch?v=NeAH5bCMNlQ
_1. Deodorant containing parabens or phthalates.
Use baking soda as a deodorant instead.
_2. Sunscreens containing parabens, benzophenones, methylbenzylidene camphor, octyl-dimethyl-PABA, octyl-methoxycinnamate, homosolate, or oxybenzone.
_3. Mint; avoid it.
_4. Vegetable oil; use coconut oil instead.
_5. Marijuana for some people; it also lowers sperm count.
_6. Non-organic meat maybe.
_7. Flax seed.
_8. Licorice root.
_What raises it?
_1. Lift weights 40'2x/wk with compound exercises.
_2. Sprint 30m 20-30x.
_3. Get vitamin D from sunshine.
_4. Lower stress.
_5. Stay lean.
1. Eggs 2. Bone Broth 3. Salt 4. Cabbage 5. Chocolate 6. Avocados 7. Probiotics 8. Cheese

__SORE THROAT
https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1546368
_For a sore throat I recommend using Pau D Arco tea, not the capsules.  And you need to physically boil the bark for 20 minutes covered.  Steeping the bark in hot water will not extract it.  I use a heaping tablespoon of the bark per quart of water.  Bring the water to a rapid boil and add the bark.  Cover the pot but keep it at a rapid boil for 20 minutes.  Then turn off the heat and let it sit until cooled.  You can sweeten the tea with stevia. Then drink the tea throughout the day.
__ https://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1702474
_As for sore throats zinc lozenges are great for this.

__STREP THROAT
__ https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1546368
_I generally recommend 1500mg Pau D Arco 3 times daily, although I have drunk 2 quarts of the tea daily for 2 weeks to wipe out strep throat.  I never got any detox symptoms.
_Andrographis and pau d' arco can be taken together and even work better combined.
_Many spices will also work.  Clove, cinnamon, ginger, etc. Steep these in hot water with a lid over them though instead of boiling them.
__ https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1797153
_For strep throat I recommend making a tea by boiling a couple of tablespoons of pau d' arco (lapacho, taheebo, ipe roxo) with a spoon full of licorice root in a quart of water.  Rapidly boil covered for 20 minutes then turn off the heat and allow it to cool.  Gargle with the tea and drink it throughout the day to kill the infection and reduce the inflammation.
_When you turn off the heat on the tea you can also add a spoon full of cloves and let these steep in the tea.  Cloves are a great analgesic to help reduce the pain. Propolis sprays are also great for sore throats from infection.

__THYROID ISSUES
- http://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1598619#i
_The thyroid needs, besides iodine, tyrosine, cAMP levels, adrenal function, hypothalamus and pituitary function, T4 to T3 conversion, rT3, etc.

__THYROID ISSUES
Ashwagandha root extract can normalize thyroid hormone levels
https://www.sott.net/article/366447-Ashwagandha-root-extract-can-normalize-thyroid-hormone-levels
_For the thyroid I would go with suma, maca and ashwagandha. The reason is suma and maca also help balance the hormones, which can also affect the thyroid and ashwagandha since it also helps with T4 to T3 conversion.
_ I tend to use ashwagandha more for adrenal support. Ashwagandha affects the GABA receptors in the brain giving it a mild tranquilizing effect. It is also great for the thyroid and especially stress associated hypothyroidism. It is in the nightshade family, but people with nightshade sensitivities still tolerate it really well.
_It works on inflammation by strengthening the adrenals. The adrenals produce anti-inflammatory corticosteroids.
_Nettle and ashwagandha are both good for hypothyroidism.
_Ashwagandha will not work by itself for the thyroid. Vitamin C and pantothenic acid sources are also needed for the adrenals and maybe some seaweeds for both the adrenals and the thyroid.
_I would go with 1 tablet of ashwagandha 3 times daily on an empty stomach at least 20 minutes before meals. This way you will maintain levels of the active compounds in the blood rather than having peaks then absences of the compounds. Taking herbs on an empty stomach prevents proteins and fats from interfering with the absorption of the compounds.
_But high levels of estrogen also suppress the thyroid. And bitters cleanse the liver, lowering excessive levels of hormones.
_Ashwagandha and coleus forskohlii both support the thyroid through different mechanisms.

__D: TINCTURES

__TINNITUS
_This is most often caused from a constiction of blood flow in the ear area. Gotu kola and periwinkle are both very good for this. Magnesium malate or citrate can also help.
___Cordyceps 3g/da, ___Magnesium malate

Tinnitus is caused by low blood flow to the eustacian tube. ___Cordyceps 3g/da helps tinnitus and many other problems.
___Magnesium malate or other smooth muscle relaxants will generally help. Otherwise it can be from damage to the ear or misalignment of the spinal discs.
NSAIDs, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, constrict blood vessels & cause tinnitus as well as heart attacks, strokes, liver and kidney failure etc.
[[The following is not from Sloane - http://officialquietmindplus.com ]]
_Scientists have chosen hibiscus and hawthorn berry as the "first aid duo" that can lower the sound from the very first days.
_This happens because this emergency team quickly repairs the buzzing brain networks. Also, hibiscus "cools down" the entire nervous system, while hawthorn berry wipes out panic attacks.
_There are 232 species of hibiscus and over 1,000 of hawthorn berries but only one of each kind can tone down tinnitus so fast.
_Olive leaves may take a little longer to kick in but it's the one ingredient that definitely puts a run to tinnitus
_Niacin or B3 is vital for every single part of your body as it has the incredible power of repairing DNA.
_Adding garlic powers up your memory and fights off dementia.
_Vitamins B12, B6, and Buchu leaves are like steroids for the brain. they grow your brain, fire up connections and help cell rejuvenation.
_Combine green tea, juniper berry, uva ursi and vitamin C for protection.

__TOOTH INFECTION
For a tooth infection, which can cause the face to swell on one side like that, I recommend boiling some pau d' arco for 20 minutes covered then the heat turned off and allowed to steep until cooled. Drink the tea frequently throughout the day swishing the tea inside the mouth each time. The pau d' arco contains 18 antiseptics and 5 anti-inflammatories. If you want to sweeten the tea add a little licorice root to the tea when boiling it.
__TOOTH ISSUES, CAVITIES, FILLINGS, MERCURY
_I think the whole mercury amalgam issue is way over blown. Most of the mercury is leached out the amalgam within the first two years of being put in. And that gets mostly bound to phytates and algins from our diets preventing it from ever really being absorbed. The binding is so strong that as the phytates and algins get excreted they carry the toxic metals with them.

__SCALP ITCH, MITES, ECZEMA, DERMATITIS
_X: My incredibly itchy scalp (crusty white and sometimes bloody) plagues me for years and I feel movement subcutaneously with it - creepy. I hear creaking, clicking, squeaking, cracking and popping of fluid with this.
_JS: Mites are one possibility, or it could be eczema or a dermatitis. You could start with olive oil and rub a large amount in to the hair then cover it with a shower cap and leave overnight. This will suffocate any mites. And wash all your bedding when you do this. I also recommend that you work on your adrenals in case it is eczema or a dermatitis. Of course this will also mean quitting the smoking and coffee. [Take vitamin C and vitamin B5 foods for the adrenals.]

__SCARRING PREVENTION
There are a few things that can help. One is the comfrey root, which contains a high content of healing allantoin. Once it has healed some coco butter can be applied, but it will have to be melted then some oil added so that when it cools it will be soft enough to apply. I would recommend blending the butter with unrefined avocado oil or sunflower seed oil. I generally mix about 4 ounces of the butter with 2 ounces of oil. When the mix cools but has not hardened yet healing essential oils can be added such as lavender oil. As it continues to cool it will resolidify, but will melt with body heat making it easy to apply. Castor oil is also supposed to be good for scars. And ginger poulticies can be used to eat aways the scar tissue so new healthy tissue can grow in.
__SCARS
For scars, use protease enzyme sources such as powdered ginger root mixed with a little rice bran as an exfoliant.

__SCHIZOPHRENIA, D: **PSYCHIATRIC DRUGS
I have recommended GABA for people with schizophrenia in the past and they got wonderful results with it. But glycine is easier to absorb and still raises GABA levels. You might want to consider giving glycine a try for a lot of your issues. It could help with the tardive dyskinesia as well. Recommended dose would be 1,000mg three times daily at least 30 minutes before meals.

_The best herb for increasing testosterone is tribulus terrestris. Nettle root is a good herb to combine with tribulus. Nettle root is what is known as an aromatase inhibitor. Aromatase is an enzyme that converts testosterone in to estrogen. So by blocking this enzyme the nettle root can help maintain testosterone levels. Trimethylglycine (TMG) is a methyl donor that aids in the formation of hormones among other things. Zinc is also essential for testosterone formation, though you should not exceed 50mg daily.
_And don't forget to focus on the adrenals. The adrenals also generate testosterone.
_Tribulus increases testosterone. Saw palmetto is a DHT blocker. You can also use nettle root as an aromatase inhibitor to block the conversion of testosterone in to estrogen.
_Delay orgasm as long as possible to increase oxytocin levels.

__SILICA DEFICIENCY: WEAK BLOOD VESSELS (ANEURISMS, ARTERIOSCLEROSIS, VARICOSE VEINS, HEMORRHOIDS), BRITTLE TISSUES (EMPHYSEMA, WRINKLES, BRITTLE NAILS, POOR VISION), BRITTLE BONES (OSTEOPOROSIS), INFLAMED TISSUES (ARTHRITIS, TENDONITIS ETC)
_The silica from diatomaceous earth [added to water overnight] provides numerous benefits, [such as] from its role in collagen and elastin formation. Collagen is a protein that gives tissues strength, while elastin gives tissues elasticity. This is why it helps with wrinkles and strengthening the nails. By increasing collagen it gives these tissues strength, and the elastin restores the elasticity ... in the skin ... to [remove or prevent] wrinkles. It also helps with varicose veins and aneurysms, [which] result from a loss of collagen and elastin in the veins and arteries causing these blood vessels to balloon out. Along the same line silica helps to prevent arteriosclerosis by both strengthening arteries to prevent damage, and because of silica's anti-inflammatory properties. Emphysema results from a loss of elastin in the alveoli, and so is also helped by silica supplementation. It is the absolute most important nutrient for bone strength. Silica not only aids with calcium absorption, but it is also essential for the collagen matrix that gives the bones the majority of their strength. In addition the piezoelectric effect of silica is what allows mineralization of the collagen matrix. In other words, without sufficient silica all of the calcium, magnesium, phosphorus ... will not do anything for the bones. Silica can help prevent visual problems from aging due to loss of flexibility of the lens of the eye. It is great for tendonitis and other similar problems due to the strengthening and anti-inflammatory properties of silica. Silica also links together glucosamine molecules to form chondroitin molecules for the production of cartilage.
_Silica is poorly absorbed, so the best way to take it is by adding it to water. Put a large spoonful of diatomaceous earth in a jar of water and let it set for an hour or more. The water will dissolve a tiny amount of the silica to form orthosilicic acid, the usable form of silica. Pour some of the water into a glass, or cup etc, to drink, without pouring out the undissolved diatomaceous earth at the bottom of the jar. Then add more water to the jar to use later. The diatomaceous earth should last a couple months in the bottom of the jar.

__SINUS INFECTION
_One of the most common mistakes I see doctors make is the prescribing of antibiotics without first performing a culture. This is especially true for sinus infections. Time and time again I have seen people given antibiotics for sinus infections without a culture. The majority of the time antibiotic therapy fails. The problem is that antibiotics work against bacteria, though the majority of sinus infections are fungal in origin. If a fungal infection is present in the sinuses, antibiotic therapy will not only fail, but the therapy will make the condition worse. The sinuses, like various other parts of the body, contain beneficial bacteria. These bacteria, among other functions, help to control fungal overgrowth. As antibiotics kill off the beneficial bacteria, the fungal infection becomes free to grow uncontrolled.
_Fungal infections of the sinus cavity are actually extremely difficult to eradicate. My former business partner suffered with a fungal sinus infection for seven years when I met him. He was prescribed antibiotics over and over without any success. A few doctors did run cultures, though the cultures failed to show infection. I made him a concoction of osha’ root, cayenne pepper, and licorice root. The next day a large fungus ball came out of his sinuses. Analysis by a medical lab determined that the infection was a very aggressive black fungus. The constant antibiotic therapy just increased the hold the fungus had in his sinus cavity.
_Further complicating the problem is the fact that the sinus cavity is a warm, moist environment. This is the perfect growing environment for fungus. When trying to fight fungal infections, two problems arise. First, any fungus being killed can become food for the surviving fungus. Second, if even one fungal spore remains the infection may rebound.
_Many feel the best way to address sinus infections is to first get a culture so the type of infection is known. If the infections are proven to be bacterial, pharmaceutical or herbal antibiotics, such as pau d’ arco, are recommended. Fungal infections are best addressed by trying to restore the flora in the sinus cavity. Probiotic supplements, or probiotic foods, such as yogurt or kefir, can help. A probiotic powder, such as acidophilus powder, may be made into a liquid, with the addition of distilled water, for nasal irrigation, or snuffing. This will help elevate levels of beneficial bacteria in the sinus cavity. Eating horseradish may also help. Horseradish root contains a volatile oil, with extremely strong antiseptic properties. When ingested, the oil is absorbed into the bloodstream, and excreted through the respiratory passages. By trying to breathe through the nose, the oil is forced up into the sinus cavity where it can help fight infection.
_Limiting the intake of simple sugars, high glycemic foods, and yeast products may also help. Consumption of alcohol and caffeine should also be eliminated.
_Maintaining a healthy immune system is also essential. A few suggestions are the herbs amla berry, schisandra berry, astragalus, jiaogulan, and myrrh. Other recommended supplements include 50 mg of zinc daily, 200 micrograms of selenium three times a day, and 10,000IU daily of vitamin A. Vitamin C is important, though excessive doses are not recommended. Natural sources of vitamin C are more effective than synthetic forms. This is why I recommend amla berry, which is my favorite source of natural vitamin C.
__SINUS INFECTION, FUNGAL
So it sounds like you likely have a fungal infection. My recommendation is to try and reestablish the flora in your sinuses. The best way to do this is to get some Acidophilus powder, not capsules. The capsules are going to have flow agents and other items that you don't want in your sinuses. Put some powder in a water bottle cap and add just enough water to make a thick liquid. Then lay down and put your head back. Use an eyedropper to put a little of the liquid in the nose and snuff it up in the sinuses. Repeat this several times a day. It will probably take a week or so for the numbers to build up enough to see a real difference. If you can make some kefir water to use instead of the Acidophilus then that would be even better.

https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1549217#i
_Cayenne helps because peppers, as well as ripe bell peppers and sweet stuffing peppers, are all high in vitamin C and sulfur. Both are required for the formation of collagen and elastin, which give tissues including blood vessels strength and elasticity.
_But collagen and elastin formation also requires silica as well as traces of copper and zinc. Peppers are not a very good source of silica. Better choices are watercress and nettle leaf which are rich in silica, vitamin C and sulfur. In addition these are also great sources of quercetin, which forms blood vessel strengthening rutin, and vitamin K that also strengthens blood vessels.
_Gotu kola helps to stimulate collagen formation.

__SLEEP ISSUES, DEPRESSION, SIDE PAIN
___Taurine, ___glycine, ___GABA, ___kava, ___scullcap, ___ashwagandha and ___lady's slipper are all great choices to help calm the mind for sleep. If you can find lady's slipper this is the most powerful thing I have found yet for sleep. It is considered a narcotic herb.
_Someone began not sleeping well again and was getting a mild pain on the right side just below the ribs. Then the face began to break out. Then the emotional/mental state went way off track and depression set back in big time and Brain fog.
_Brain fog is most commonly caused from thyroid dysfunction.
_This could very likely be the gallbladder. If you are having temporary hormonal fluctuations a rise in estrogen or progesterone could cause problems with the gallbladder. Estrogen increases cholesterol release in to the gallbladder, while progesterone prevents gallbladder contractions.
_Make sure you are getting plenty of fiber in your diet for bile salt formation, and consuming SMALL amounts of oils will help stimulate gallbladder contractions to prevent stones from forming.
_This really sounds like a hormone issue. Breaking out is from androgens, which can be either testosterone or progesterone. And increases of estrogen from progesterone or testosterone can cause depression due to the suppressive effects of estrogen on the thyroid.
_This could be a temporary shift in the hormones as your body is trying to balance its hormonal system, especially if the vitex is finally kicking in. I don't see anything else in what you are doing that could cause this.
__SLEEP ISSUES
TOO STRESSED TO SLEEP SUPPLEMENTS
http://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1839654
_One simple thing that can be done is to give up the caffeine and support the adrenals. One role of the adrenals is to maintain our energy levels. When people abuse caffeine to increase their energy they are actually doing the opposite in a way. As they crash their adrenals they actually become more dependent on the stimulant to try and get their energy up. If they crash their adrenals enough then the caffeine does not really provide this effect anymore. You may have heard people say that they can drink a cup of coffee and go right to sleep. These are the people who have crashed their adrenals. The adrenals can only produce small amounts of epinephrine (adrenaline) at a time. When a person uses caffeine on a regular basis they use up the epinephrine faster than it can be produced. This leads to a gradual decline of epinephrine. If this goes on long enough and frequently enough then the person can drink a cup of coffee, which results in most of the available epinephrine being used up so there is not enough to maintain their energy so they fall asleep after drinking the coffee.
_So avoiding coffee in the first place would be a great start. This way the adrenals would have a better chance to naturally maintain energy levels.
_If a little extra boost is needed then they could use something like ___bee pollen, ___American licorice root or a good quality ___Panax ginseng for a safer energy boost.
__SLEEPLESSNESS
https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1770677#i
_But trying glycine instead of benzos would be a good start. You may also want to give nettle leaf a try before bed. Nettle leaf supports the adrenals, is a good source of chromium and magnesium for blood sugar control, and has a fair amount of protein again to help stabilize blood sugar. Chlorella would also be a good choice as it is about 60% protein for blood sugar control and also helps with metal detoxification.

Drink up to 2 quarts water per day to help flush nicotine out of the system.
2. Take phenylalanine for dopamine & appetite suppression 1g 3x/day on empty stomach 30' before meals,
takes 2 weeks to show effects.
3. 2 weeks after #2, add a tablespoon of cream of tartar to a glass of orange juice. Drink one glass 3x/day to remove nicotine faster than with water.
4. Chew on calamus root for aversion therapy, as it causes nausea when smoking.
5. After quitting, don't smoke again, because it's more addictive after quitting.

_The primary reasons for sugar cravings is either low serotonin or hypoglycemic reactions.
_Carbohydrates will stimulate the release of serotonin if taken in the absence of high protein. This is why depressive eaters go for the sweets, because they can up serotonin levels giving them their serotonin "fix".
_And the body can crave sugars during hypoglycemic reactions as a means of getting the blood sugar levels back up.
_If the problem is with depressed serotonin levels then chamomile, nettle leaf and 5-HTP can help.
_For hypoglycemia I recommend licorice root, chromium polynicotinate and magnesium malate.
_A few other things that can help with sugar cravings are stevia and glutamine. The stevia is very sweet and putting it on the tongue can satisfy the cravings for sweets. Glutamine is the only thing other than glucose the brain can use directly as a fuel source. So it helps to satisfy the brain's need for fuel in the absence of sufficient glucose.

_Some ... lymphatic cleansing herbs are red root (New Jersey tea), mullein leaf, octotillo bark, or chickweed.
_X: Jiaogulan or echinecea except with autoimmune disease.
_Myrrh is stronger that echinacea. But also avoid it with autoimmunity due to the high polysaccharide content.
_Myrrh is also great for stopping the spread of viruses, venoms and cancer cells since it is such a strong hyaluronidase inhibitor.
_Lymph nodes are actually part of the immune system. Occasionally they will swell in response to infections and in the case of some cancers. The swelling of the nodes has nothing to do with acidity, and nothing to do with the nodes retaining water. The swelling actually comes from a build up of white blood cells produced in the lymphatic system known as B lymphocytes. When an excess of these white blood cells are produced they crowd up in the lymph nodes causing them to swell up.
_Injury or trauma is often the cause of lymphodema because of damage to the lymph drainage system. Using lymphatic massage, rebounders, pressure bandaging (where practical) or vibration therapy machines, will help to drain lymphatic fluid buildup, caused by trauma or injury.

_Mix equal amounts of chaparral, thyme and horseradish root powders. Put in to capsules. Recommend 2 size '00' capsules 3 times daily at least 20 minutes before meals. If she cannot find all three herbs try to at least get as many as possible.
_In addition get some eucalyptus essential oil. Place 8 to 10 drops in a separate capsule. Recommend 1 capsule of the oil 3 times daily before meals. This is for ADULTS only, not young children as the oil can be toxic in high doses.
_The chaparral kills viruses, bacteria and fungi as well as boosts the immune system. The thyme and horseradish oils are excreted through the lungs, as is the eucalyptus oil. These oils are also extremely effective in killing viruses, bacteria and fungi.
_The longest I have ever seen this formula take to clear up pneumonia or bronchitis is 3 days. It is a good idea to continue for a few days after symptoms disappear to make sure all traces are cleared up.

__RESPIRATORY ISSUES
_Treat _ lung infections [& other respiration issues] with chaparral, thyme, horseradish root and eucalyptus oil [in capsules]. This is a quick and effective full range antimicrobial that is specific to the respiratory tract.

http://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1561901
- Inflammation is part of the body's trying to heal. Basically what is happening is when we injure ourselves inflammatory hormones called prostaglandins dilate the blood vessels in the area to increase blood flow and thus [drive] oxygen and nutrients to the area to promote healing. When the blood vessels are dilated like this for a while though they become permeable so they leak fluids in to the surrounding tissues. This is the swelling that people experience.
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs work by inhibiting these prostaglandins thereby constricting the blood vessels. This prevents the leakage of fluid, but also inhibits the healing process. In addition these drugs are known for causing heart attacks, strokes, chemical induced hepatitis, kidney failure, loss of vision and tinnitus because they can reduce or cut off the blood supply to organs and other tissues. And contrary to popular belief this does not require long term use or excessive doses. There were 2 dozen deaths from Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Nuprin, etc.) induced hepatitis during clinical trials. And I know 4 people that had their kidneys shut down after taking a single recommended dose of ibuprofen. The people most at risk are those with circulatory disorders such as those with Raynaud's, congestive heart failure, diabetes, etc.
- A couple of options to help with the pain and swelling without inhibiting healing are either using an >arnica cream topically over the injured area, or internally >licorice root and >yucca root are both strong steroidal anti-inflammatories.
- The easiest way to explain this would be to compare it with phytoestrogens. Phytoestrogens do not contain actual estrogens. They just have weak estrogenic effects. When talking about anti-inflammatory plants the "steroidal" anti-inflammatories do not contain actual steroids. They contain sterols, which have mild steroidal properties and help support the adrenals that produce the body's steroids. Where they really differ from true steroids though is that like phytoestrogens that regulate estrogens, phytosterols regulate the inflammatory response. Even though they partially inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, which can constrict blood vessels, sterols also dilate blood vessels. This is one of the reasons sterol sources are used to lower blood pressure.

- JS: The ashwagandha really should not have that problem. I suspect that it is likely one of the additives such as the calcium phosphate or magnesium stearate. If you can I recommend trying straight >ashwagandha powder to see if this solves the problem If so then it is more likely the additives.

- Mostly I resort to advil when I [get] headaches or menstrual cramping, for which I know there are other remedies, but in conjunction when those other remedies just aren't enough.
-JS: >Ashwagandha would be a really good choice. It not only supports the adrenals, but it also raises GABA levels to calm the mind.

__**PAIN
https://draxe.com/natural-painkillers/
_1. Painfully Spicy Foods
_If you’ve got a taste for hot stuff, you likely know some level of pain is involved. Interestingly, though, hot foods like wasabi and cayenne pepper can actually act as natural painkillers. Cayenne pepper benefits include several types of natural pain relief. The powerful pepper actually helps alleviate post-operative pain, including pain relief after a mastectomy or amputation.
_Cayenne pepper is also a potent candida killer. Scientists found it’s active against 16 different fungal strains, including candida, a common internal infection linked to joint pain, among other candida symptoms. (1) Cayenne also provides external pain relieve. Capsaicin, an important natural painkiller found in cayenne, helps treat muscle soreness, tension and even skin infections. Look for it in natural painkilling creams.
_Wasabi is another spicy food with natural painkilling properties. Scientists are studying the isothiocyanates in wasabi as potential pain relievers. Researcher from University of California San Francisco made a recent discovery suggesting that isothiocyanates could block an inflammation receptor, making it a potentially important natural painkiller. (2)
_2. Powerful Pain-Relieving Oils
_Evening Primrose Oil for Menstrual Pain
_Evening primrose oil is naturally rich in the essential fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid and is becoming more popular around the world as a natural PMS treatment. Many women take it to alleviate common premenstrual symptoms, including pain, thanks to its hormone-balancing effects.
_I recommend a woman takes 1,500 milligrams starting on the first day of her period and continuing until ovulation. If your’e on certain antidepressants, you have a bleeding or a seizure disorder, you’re on phenothiazine drugs for schizophrenia, or you’re being treated for high blood pressure, you should talk to your doctor before starting evening primrose oil.
_Arnica Oil for Bruises & Carpal Tunnel Pain
_Not as popular as many other essential oils, arnica oil belongs in every medicine cabinet. Considered generally safe for topical use, arnica oil used on the skin helps ease inflammatory pain associated with insect bites, bruises and even arthritis flare-ups. (5, 6) To treat bruises, applying arnica oil twice daily (as long as the skin is not broken) helps reduce bruising inflammation even better than low-concentration vitamin K formulations. (3)
_When it comes to carpal tunnel relief, arnica oils is also a smart choice in the natural painkillers department. For some, it helps reduce pain to the point of not needing carpal tunnel surgery. For others, arnica oil is a proven way to help lower inflammation and associated pain in the weeks following carpal tunnel surgery. (4)
_Lavender & Peppermint Oils for Muscle Pain & Headache Relief
_One of the benefits of peppermint oil involves its natural painkiller and muscle-relaxant properties. It’s even been shown to help alleviate fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome. (5)
_For natural headache relief, two essential oils team up for natural pain relief. Peppermint oil improves circulation and lavender reduces muscle tension — two ways to quickly stop a headache in its tracks. Try placing a few drops of peppermint or lavender oil into your hands and then rubbing the blend on your forehead, temples and back of neck. You can also dilute a few drops down by mixing the essential oils with almond, grapeseed or coconut oil.
_The peppermint-lavender combo also teams up to reduce post-workout muscle pain. This handy homemade muscle rub recipe also helps alleviate sore muscles:
natural painkillers - dr. axe
_Note: Certain essential oils posses incredible pain-reducing qualities. (As always, it’s important to use essential oils according to directions because these plant-based compounds are potent. So be sure to mix with carrier oils accordingly when appropriate.)
_3. Epsom Salt
_You may already know that magnesium-rich epsom salt is a natural painkiller for bone and joint pain and muscle soreness. (It’s a go-to remedy for heel spur pain, specifically.) But epsom salt can also come in handy when you’re dealing with a painful splinter or even post-childbirth soreness.
_Soaking an area affected with a splinter in warm water and epsom salt helps painlessly draw out splinters. A sitz bath including epsom salt can help increase magnesium and quell inflammation associated with soreness after childbirth.
_4. Self Myofascial Release
_Foam roller exercises are a form of self-myofascial release that, while kind of mildly painful at times, actually gets out those nagging muscle knots while helping you fix muscle imbalances that lead to poor posture and related musculoskeletal pain. It’s also an emerging treatment to reduce your risk of developing delayed muscle onset soreness, a common exercise-related pain that keeps people out of the gym. (6)
_5. Drink Your Great-Grandma’s Go-To Broth
_Back in the “olden days,” our ancestors didn’t like to waste any part of an animal they were using for food. Because of that, back then, bone broth was a normal part of almost everyone’s diet. Made of bones, marrow, skin, feet, tendons and ligaments, this old-fashioned stock helped provide an ample dose of collagen, proline, glycine and glutamine that is largely missing from the modern American diet.
_Bone broths contain minerals in forms that your body can easily absorb: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, sulphur and others. They contain chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine, the compounds sold as pricey supplements to reduce inflammation, arthritis and joint pain. (7) Here’s one of my go-to bone broth recipes.
_One of the reasons bone broth serves as such a potent natural painkiller involves the ability to act as a soft cushion to help bones glide without friction due to its gelatin content. Think of it as a joint anti-ager.
_6. Graston Technique
_Digging a metal tool into a painful spot, such as the bottom of your foot if you’re dealing with plantar fasciitis, sounds like some sort of medieval torture practice. The Graston technique is an instrument-aided manual therapy that serves as a noninvasive way to deal with soft tissue ailments like achilles tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, shin splints, back and shoulder pain, and other ailments. It’s even been proven to help relieve pain associated with chronic conditions like trigger finger and post-surgery pain in a way that can reduce the amount of painkillers administered.
_The technique works by targeting scar tissues, alerting the body’s immune system that it’s an area that needs to be targeted and healed.
_7. Needles
_When you think of a needle poking into your skin, the last thing you probably think about is natural pain relief. The truth is, though, that dry needling works by stimulating trigger points to reduce pain or disability. A 2007 study found dry needling significantly reduced shoulder pain by targeting a trigger point. Dry needling can also help deal with trigger points that reduce a person’s range of motion, which can lead to serious pain and musculoskeletal side effects.
_8. Rolfing
_Could you find pain relief through a method that focuses on soft tissue manipulation and your psyche? The answer is yes. Rolfing, also known as structural integration, involves soft tissue work and movement education to realign your body’s myofascial structure with gravity. (8.) (Think of your body’s fascia as the “netting” that encases your muscles and organs.)
_Rolfing not only relieves physical muscle pain rooted in your fascia, but also improves your emotional well-being and energy. Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve your game or someone suffering with TMJ pain, chronic back pain or spine pain, rolfing is something worth exploring. It’s a potent natural painkiller that impacts your neuromuscular system in a positive, pill-free way.

__PARASITES, LIVER FLUKES
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1543986
_Q) I'm on the 4th day of a spoon of DE a day. I've been told 7 days will do it, but I read 20 days is best. HV, what do you say is best for killing intestional parasites? In case there is anything in the blood is there a herb or two that you like for killing these? Do I recall that you mentioned Pau'de arco or Wormwood? What doseage?
_A) DE will work on intestinal parasites, but not parasites in organs of the body.
_Before going too far with trying to kill parasites it is a good idea to make sure you have them. Many of the herbs used to kill parasites have thier own toxicity. Wormwood for example is effective against liver flukes, although it is also a neurotoxin. You have to be very careful about using it in high doses or for extended periods of time.
_If you are not sure if you have parasites there are some herbs you can take that kill parasites and are still safe. These include raw pumpkin seeds, papaya seeds and elecampane root (also considered excellent for liver flukes). The raw pumpkin seeds you can munch on throughout the day. Papaya seeds or elecampane I recommend a tablespoon three times daily for 30 days.
_A) Hi Charly, I worked as a pathologist for the coroners department for 6 years, and in that time only saw 1 person that even had liver flukes, let alone an infestation. This guy worked and lived on a cattle station in the tropical north of the state, and ate a great deal of fish caught in the local rivers.
_Intestinal parasites are a bit more common, and I'm not surprised your sister had a tape worm. Intestinal parasites can come from a variety of places, but they generally don't become an infestation, unless the person has a very poor immune system, or continually reinfects themselves.
_What I have seen of the photos posted on the Liver Flush Forum, are not flukes, and I doubt that they even come from the liver, but are just undigested food from the bowel. (I know what a liver fluke looks like).
_It certainly wont hurt to give your intestines a scrub with the DE, or keep your liver healthy with herbs and a good diet.
_I'm not a believer in the Conspiracy theory surrounding doctors and the diagnosing of parasites, although, like many diagnostic tests, the tests are not always acurate.
_I do believe however, that many people on CZ, that self diagnose, get it wrong also. Doing endless enemas, colonics and flushes, will do more damage to the bowel than a few worms will.
_Rather than using the seek and destroy method to kill any parasites, its better to support your body nutritionally, and keep yourself healthy, the parasites will not want to live in a healthy body.
_Q) I've read that people that perform colonics see tons of intestional parasites... My sister had many tapeworms, not just one, and also several other varieties.
_A) Pin worms and hook worms are the most common parasite in humans, both are easily dispatched with DE. As I said before, infestations of other parasites are unlikely, particularly if you eat a good diet, and avoid foods that are likely to be infected with parasites.
_IMHO, particularly here on CZ, there is a lot of scare tactics going on in regards to things such as candida, (HV has some excellent posts on this subject), parasites etc. Just because the methods used to deal with various parasites etc, are natural, doesn't mean that the constant or overuse of them is harmless. Colonics, flushes, overdosing on herbs, is as dangerous as using pharmacuticals, and as unnecessary.
__**PARASITES (ZAPPERS); See also VIRUSES
_I don't know if Dr. Clark's zapper design works. I know Wayne Green used to say one can make a zapper simply by connecting the leads from a 9-volt battery to the area over a blood vessel on bare skin of each ankle, using saltwater under each lead to improve conductivity. The leads can remain in contact for ten minutes or more as all of the blood of the body passes under the leads on both ankles. This could be done a couple times a day for a number of days and was said to be good for cancer, viruses etc in the blood. I haven't read of any scientific studies on this, but now that I think about it, it seems that it may be an improved form of earthing/grounding. And I think there are scientific studies on grounding. I have info on grounding as a treatment for the Covid virus and Covid vaxes at https://covidandvaxfaqs.substack.com/p/faq-3-remedies.
_James Sloane warns that some herbs for parasites, like wormwood, should only be used briefly in small doses, because of their toxicity, but he recommends other items that aren't toxic, which also destroy parasites in organs, such as raw pumpkin seeds, papaya seeds and elecampane root. I'll add his info on that to my substack at https://naturalremedieswiki.substack.com/archive.
_He says the popular kinds of liver flushes are dangerous, because they use too much oil at once, which can cause gallstones to get stuck in the bile duct, which would require emergency surgery. The best liver cleanse is simply taking nontoxic bitters, like Swedish bitters, which causes the liver to flush right away.

__PARKINSON'S
Parkinson's is best treated by elevating dopamine. The amino acids >phenylalanine or >tyrosine can be used to elevate dopamine. >TMG can also help increase dopamine. >Sage leaf is great for the nervous system and helps to control the Parkinson's tremors.
_Take sage leaf, bupleurum and Tyrosine: mix 5 parts bupleurum, 3 parts tyrosine and one part sage leaf powder. Recommended dose of the mix is 1/2 teaspoon three times daily at least 20 minutes before meals. The mix will provide various benefits such as liver support, memory support and thyroid support. The bupleurum and tyrosine both raise dopamine levels. TMG would also be really helpful since methylation is required for dopamine production. The sage is for the nervous system to help control the palsy.
_There is no definitive test for Parkinson's. A diagnosis is based primarily on symptoms, history, including other things that can cause these symptoms, and simply if the person responds to the medications used to treat Parkinson's.
_The best remedy would be to mix these powders: 5 parts bupleurum powder, 3 parts tyrosine and one part sage leaf powder. Recommended dose of the mix is 1/2 teaspoon three times daily at least 20 minutes before meals.
_Bupleurum & tyrosine are dopamine precursors, which raise dopamine levels. Trimethylglycine (TMG) is a methyl donor that is required for the production of neurotransmitters like dopamine. Recommended dose is 500-1000mg three times daily [maybe with meals]. Magnesium malate is great for elevating brain ATP [for energy].
_An animal study has shown that pantethine can protect against experimentally induced Parkinson’s disease. Pantethine was able to stop the decline in ketones to completely arrest the destruction of dopamine neurons. Pantethine was able to protect nerves from wear and tear. Collectively, these nerve-related studies show that pantethine provides multiple ways to protect and boost the brain. [Here's the complete article: http://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1913785 ]

__PNEUMONIA, BRONCHITIS
To clear up lung infections mix equal parts of chaparral, thyme, and horseradish powders. Blend them well then fill some capsules. In one of the empty capsules add 8 drops of pure eucalyptus essential oil. Recommend 1 capsule with the 8 drops of oil 3 times daily with the herb capsules. You will exhale the oils killing any fungus, bacteria, or virus in the lungs. The longest I have ever seen this take for pneumonia or bronchitis is 3 days. Only take it as needed. Remember to stay hydrated to keep the mucous in the lungs fluid so it can be expelled with the pathogens.
__PNEUMONIA, BRONCHITIS
_With both acute bronchitis and pneumonia there will usually be phlegm being coughed up with color. Brownish-black indicates bronchitis and yellowish-green indicates pneumonia. Unless he is referring to chronic bronchitis, but they would not give you antibiotics for this. A dry cough can be a few things including an asthmatic cough. Did the doctor do an x-ray? Make sure you staying hydrated as dehydration will make it harder to cough up any phlegm if it is present. Consuming cayenne pepper will also help thin out the mucous as will fenugreek. And an expectorant such as osha' root or horehound will help expel any mucous. Unless there is colored mucous I seriously doubt it is acute bronchitis or pneumonia. And until you are sure what you have knowing how to treat t is going to be difficult.
_And if you have someone who can cup their hands and pound your back around your lungs this will also help to break up the mucous. You can do the same thing on your chest.
_For pneumonia take thyme, chaparral, horseradish, eucalyptus combo capsule a few times a day 20 min before meals. Usually the formula does not take more than 3 days to clear up an infection. Probiotics may stave off pneumonia.

_There are various hormonal changes involved with PCOS, including a drop in progesterone and increased estrogen and testosterone. So the primary focus should be on elevating progesterone and helping the liver to break down the excess estrogen and testosterone.
_I am not a big fan of progesterone creams, especially long-term. But in cases such as PCOS they can be used short-term to help get levels up while allowing time for the herb vitex (chaste tree berry) to kick in. This generally takes about 2 months.
_My write up on hormone balance explains ways to cleanse the liver and aid in excess estrogen break down.
_Other than vitex some herbs I highly recommend include wild yam, licorice root and nettle leaf.
(Elsewhere, Sloane recommends Bitters for Liver Cleansing.)

__POST NASAL DRIP
_For post nasal drip Quercetin capsules work the best. Make sure it is pure quercetin and not the QBC (quercetin, bromelain and vitamin C). They are usually 400 to 500mg and recommended dose is one capsule as needed.

__PREGNANCY ISSUES; See also NURSING, or FERTILITY
The following nutritional info is from "Truth in Medicine" at
https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Acurezone.com+%22truth+in+medicine%22+pregnant&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
_The risk of premature labor can be minimized with red raspberry leaf tea throughout the pregnancy to tone and relax the uterus.
_1 cup of the tea 3-4 times a day. Helps to relax uterine muscles to ease birthing and prevent miscarriage.
_Supplementing with magnesium malate or magnesium citrate can also help by relaxing the uterus and can help with preventing preeclampsia.
_Nettle leaf and seaweeds are great sources of silica and other nutrition, and both support the endocrine system. Both are also helpful for digestive disorders and constipation, due to their nutritional value.
_Take digestive bitters at least once a day just before meals (just enough to taste), which are the most important to balance the hormones.
_Alfalfa is also very nutritional, and is the highest herbal source of phytoestorgens to help balance the hormones.
_Maca is also beneficial for the body due to the sterol content, and helps to improve fertility.
_Chaparral and andrographis help prevent infections.
_Limit spices in your diet as well as carrots since these can stimulate uterine contractions. Have a good diet with limited meats and dairy, which have too high estrogen content.
_NURSING
_If you ever need to increase milk production there is also fenugreek seed and goat's rue.
_Nipple stimulation increases bonding, so breast feeding is advisable.

_Nausea: Small amounts of ginger, such as sipping on ginger tea will help this. Just don't take a lot of ginger at once since it is a uterine stimulant in high doses.
_Had 2 miscarriages at earlier stages and was way healthier than I am now. Hopefully I can relax soon as a few more weeks go by. Would love your insight and suggestions as always.
_The red raspberry leaf is the best choice to help prevent miscarriage. And again I highly recommend the nettle leaf for nutritional and glandular support. Limit spices in your diet as well as carrots since these can stimulate uterine contractions.
__PREGNANCY ISSUES
https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1603200
_Pregnant women have greater zinc needs. Deficiency can cause impaired fetal development, low birth weight infants, and birth defects. Stretch marks during pregnancy are also partially due to zinc deficiency.
_Zinc deficiency can be caused by inadequate dietary intake due to foods grown on zinc depleted soils. Food processing also removes zinc, so fast foods and processed foods are also zinc depleted.
_The risk of premature labor on the other hand can be minimized with red raspberry leaf tea throughout the pregnancy to tone and relax the uterus.  Supplementing with magnesium malate or citrate can also help by relaxing the uterus and can also help with preventing preeclampsia.
_FERTILITY
https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1862633
_you said andrographis decreases fertility. Is this permanent or only while on the herb?
_It is only temporary while taking the herb.  There are only two herbs I have ever seen that can induce permanent infertility in women.
_We plan to start trying to get pregnant in 6 months or so and want to be sure I'm not taking anything to hinder this. Currently I am taking your adrenal, thyroid, and liver tonics and just ordered your flora product. Can you confirm if any herbs in these will affect my future chances and which herbs I should avoid now?
The only formula would be the Live-R-Ight since it has andrographis.  But again this only causes temporary infertility.  So I recommend stopping it about a month before you try to conceive.
_There will actually be a number of herbs that will need to be avoided once you are pregnant.  Nothing in the other two formulas, but you will want to avoid things such as the berberine herbs, juniper berry and many spices as these are uterine stimulants.  I would also avoid vitex (chaste tree berry) and wild yam.
_Other than folic acid, what recommendations do you have for vitamins/herbs/supplements prior to trying? Thanks.
_Maca helps increase fertility as does regular grocery store yams.  Nettle leaf  and alfalfa leaf are great for nutritional support and red raspberry leaf tea can be drunk throughout the pregnancy for nutrition, to prevent miscarriage and to ease the birthing process.  To control morning sickness you can sip on small amounts of ginger tea.

__PROSTATE ISSUES
_Q. To clear up prostate issues?
_A. If there is an infection, I recommend the chaparral and pau d' arco combined.
_If there is prostate enlargement, then I recommend jiaogulan, licorice root, nettle leaf and saw palmetto.
__PROSTATE
https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1603198
_Acute prostatitis: Sudden onset of fever; Chills; Lower back pain; Perineal pain; Urinary burning with frequency, urgency, and nocturia
_Chronic prostatitis: Increase in urinary frequency; Increase in urinary urgency; Dysuria; Penile discharge
_Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy: Initial stages asymptomatic; Increased urgency to urinate; Nocturia; Difficulty initiating urination; Reduced force of urine stream; Dribbling; Incomplete bladder emptying; May present persistent bladder infections
_Treatments: Zinc, Lycopene (as from cooked tomatoes), saw palmetto, pygeum, stinging nettle (powder)
__PROSTATE
https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1486694#i
_As for the prostate, zinc is really important. You can get zinc from raw pumpkin seeds, which also provide essential fatty acids that also aid the prostate. Otherwise, supplements can be used for a total of 50mg daily. For selenium I recommend 200mcg 3 times daily with meals. Try to find one combined with 2mg copper if possible. Saw palmetto and pygeum are both pretty good, but jiaogulan is more effective. Nettle leaf and root, bee pollen and licorice root are also very good choices.
_Pistachios relieve my urinary flow problems from an enlarged prostate.
_They contain sterols, but they are not the only nuts with sterols.  Sterols lock up cholesterol dropping levels that convert to hormones that can stimulate cancer growth.  Sterols can also kill cancer cells by binding to cholesterol in cancer cell membranes and removing it basically causing cancer cells to "spill their guts".
_What is the role of zinc in prostate health?
_It helps prevent the conversion of testosterone into the more radical dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes prostate enlargement.
_PSA is a useless test.
_Zinc can help with preventing cancer again by reducing DHT formation and by helping to boost the immune system.
_Zinc is great as are sterol sources like jiaogulan, bee pollen and nettle leaf and licorice root (a DHT blocker).

__OVEREATING, HUNGER
_One of the reasons people tend to overeat is that they consume proteins with their carbohydrates. Carbohydrates by themselves will stimulate a release of brain tryptophan, which then converts in to serotonin suppressing the appetite. But taking protein with the carbohydrates blocks the release of tryptophan and thus prevents proper serotonin production.
_For frequent hunger, you did mention you have adrenal dysfunction so chronic hypoglycemia is likely. A few things that can help are of course building up the adrenals. More fiber in your diet will also slow the absorption of glucose, which can help prevent rebound hypoglycemia. More protein in your diet will also slow gastric emptying. Spirulina and chlorella are the highest herbal sources. Nettle leaf also has a fair amount of protein and it also supports the adrenals and thyroid. If you also want to focus on your hypothalamus then I recommend adding alfalfa herb and maybe more seaweeds to your regime. These will also help with your hormones.

__OSTEOARTHRITIS, OSTEOPOROSIS: See also SILICA DEFICIENCY
- Osteoporosis is also a loss of collagen, not a loss of minerals.
- Osteoarthritis is also treated in large part by the restoration of collagen.
- ___Silica is the most important supplement for the restoration of collagen and elastin. The second most important nutrient is ___vitamin C
- It is best to get vitamin C from natural sources though since natural sources are generally stronger and more stable than the commonly sold synthetic vitamin C (ascorbic acid). An exception is camu camu, which is not very stable.
- Staying away from things that reduce vitamin C will also help. Keep in mind that the adrenals get priority of vitamin C over the entire rest of the body. And in autoimmune conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis the adrenals are already stressed meaning a larger requirement of vitamin C for the adrenals and less being available for other tissues.
- Steroids, often used for both rheumatoid arthritis and COPD will further deplete the adrenals and vitamin C, which is why steroids lead to bone loss.
- There are also various herbs that will stimulate collagen and elastin formation such as ___gotu kola, ___boneset, ___eupatorium, etc. If you want something already put together I do have the Bone and Joint formula that is primarily designed to increase collagen and elastin. So it can be used for other conditions resulting from a loss of these structural proteins.
- Rheumatoid arthritis is a bacterial induced autoimmune disorder. This condition is treated completely different.
- Here is some information on building up the adrenals, which is essential in autoimmunity:
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1527351#i
- ___L-tyrosine, being an amino acid, it is best taken on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before meals. Larger amino acids can block the absorption of smaller amino acids sharing the same transport chain. This is why empty stomach is best. And it does take about 2 weeks to build up. Studies with arthritis though have shown that once it kicks in the pain relieving effects can last up to a month.
- ... ___The nettle and ___astragalus will support the adrenals, which also produce the sex hormones.

__OVERWEIGHT, D: FASTING
_For body fat caused by cortisol I recommend adaptogenic herbs, vitamin C and pantothenic acid rich foods to build up the adrenal glands. For herbs I recommend ___schisandra berry, ___ashwagandha, ___amla, and ___nettle leaf. For foods I recommend ___watercress, ___rice bran, and ___nutritional yeast. Several of these herbs also promote the burning of body fat and support the thyroid.
_The hypothalamus gland is the key subconscious part of the brain that registers the leptin signal. When the leptin center in the hypothalamus gland is damaged then obesity results, due to a breakdown in central regulation of metabolism by your nervous system. In this study a drug was used to induce damage to the hypothalamus gland resulting in obesity. Pantethine helped offset the problems that were induced, resulting in lower food intake, less weight gain, better insulin and glucose levels, lower triglycerides, lower cholesterol, and improved activation of lipoprotein lipase in white adipose tissue. Pantethine is a potent nutrient to help maintain healthy fat burning and thus better leptin function.

__Ancient Chinese white tea may fight obesity
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/5255134/Ancient-Chinese-white-tea-may-fight-obesity.html

White tea has previously been linked to the creation of stronger bones, lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of some cancers. The new research, published in the journal Nutrition and Metabolism and was conducted by the German health foods company Beiersdorf AG, now claims that anti-fat properties can be added to that list. ... "We've shown that white tea may be an ideal natural source of slimming substances". Scientists tested extracts of white tea on laboratory-grown human fat cells or 'adipocytes' and found fat levels were reduced.

__Chromium/magnesium - blood sugar woes
https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1853595#i
_Do chromium & magnesium really reverse insulin resistance, or just help for folk who have this condition?
_They can work to reverse the insulin resistance. In insulin resistance the insulin receptors are not destroyed, they are just closed. It is magnesium and chromium that help keep them open. Here are some old studies I posted previously:
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1528348#i
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1535880#i
_For example if someone was a sugar addict 20 years, could they use chromium and magnesium for a few months and all the damage the sugar abuse caused would be reversed?
_The damage is a different story than the insulin resistance. And taking this further is not always the glucose causing the damage. Most of the serious damage comes from elevated insulin levels. As to what can and cannot be fixed this depends a lot on what was damaged and to what severity.
_Or do they still need to go on a low sugar diet to truly reverse it, i.e. chromium is just a mask while you have IR its not a cure and doesnt help reverse anything, its the diet that reverses the damage.
_Chromium is essential to maintaining insulin receptors, so it is not just masking the problem, it can help to correct it. Although if a person is overweight this can also increase insulin resistance so losing weight can help.
_Also would fasting help with blood sugar probs?
_I would not recommend it for several reasons. One, fasting puts stress on the body. Secondly, fasting can lead to rebound weight gain. And finally, fasting can also mean not getting the nutrients required for helping to maintain insulin sensitivity.

__NECK ACHE
https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1619723#i
_If the muscles are too contracted on the one side of the neck causing the neck to be pulled out of alignment. If this is the case then the muscle needs to be relaxed on the side the neck is out then the neck put back in to alignment by stretching the neck, not by twisting the neck as chiropractors normally do. That should release a lot of the pressure and most of the pain in a few days. Make sure to do the silica and vitamin C to strengthen the connective tissue to help hold it in place.
__NECK PAIN
_I feel a huge pain in my neck, back of the head, I feel very dizzy, start to have chest pain (especially left side), and left arm pain, but more like a long string to the index, and pang (sorry if the word is not correct) in the forearm. I feel like someone is suddenly sitting on my shoulders too. It's really like I will faint or have an heart attack.
_JS: From the symptoms, a pinched nerve was the first thing that came to mind as well as a pinching of the arteries in the neck. This could be from a slipped disc or possibly a bone spur. If you feel up both sides of the neck at the same time is it even or does there feel like there are any bilges, curves, sharp points or tender spots? Do you get any of these symptoms when you turn your neck suddenly? Or moving it up and down?
_The "central" point of the pain is right under the skull where it is linked to the neck. It spreads all over the skull, back of the head, sides, and front, eyebrows and a pressure sensation behind the eyes. There is also a cervical that hurts just there, near that point, but right side of the neck.
_JS: It sounds like the muscles are too contracted on the one side of the neck causing the neck to be pulled out of alignment. If this is the case then the muscle needs to be relaxed on the side the neck is out then the neck put back in to alignment by stretching the neck, not by twisting the neck as chiropractors normally do. That should release a lot of the pressure and most of the pain in a few days. Make sure to do the silica and vitamin C to strengthen the connective tissue to help hold it is place.

__NEUROPATHY
https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1521999
_Benfotiamine (like 250 mg/day) is great for diabetic neuropathy. Lecithin is also great for some forms of neuropathy. This is because the myelin is about 80% lecithin. The recommended dose is 1 tablespoon 3 times daily with meals. Omega-3 Fish Oil and Methyl B-12 5000 mcg are also good.
_Neuropathy caused by compressed nerves requires that the compression be relieved by chiropractic or other means.

__MACULAR DEGENERATION
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1817775#i
_The focus needs to be on strengthening the blood vessels and other tissues in the back of the eyes. Silica  and natural vitamin C sources are especially important for this.  Natural vitamin C sources also help to supply the bioflavonoids quercetin, which breaks down in to rutin, and rutin itself.  Rutin helps to strengthen the micro blood vessels in the back of the eye.  Dark berries, such as blueberries are especially high in vitamin C and bioflavonoids.
_Vitamin C sources will also help with the glaucoma.  Coleus forskohlii also helps with dropping the pressure inside the eye, especially when used as eye drops.
_Being that she has had heart surgery though make sure she is not on blood thinners, especially Coumadin (Warfarin).  Coumadin can contribute to macular degeneration and interacts with many foods and supplements.
_Also make sure she is not on any drugs like Lanoxin if she is going to take the coleus forskohlii internally.

__D: MEDS THAT DAMAGE THE LIVER

__MENOPAUSE
_Little breast and no libido ... indicate[] ... hormones are out of whack. Estrogen is low and possibly high progesterone. Lack of estrogen shrinks the breasts. Low estrogen and/or high progesterone kills the libido. [After] menopause ... primary source of sex hormones are the adrenal glands. So ... focus on them. [Eat vitamin C and vitamin B5 foods.]

__MIGRAINE
Migraines start when the blood vessels around the brain constrict tightly, then rebound vasodilate, leading to inflammation.
- There can be multiple triggers including dietary amines [protein], allergies, hormones, bright lights, etc. So anyone suffering from migraines should keep a migraine log to look for the [cause]. Anytime a migraine occurs list whatever was eaten, or drunk, what you were exposed to (fumes, pollen, etc.), ... bright lights, etc.
- The best supplements for migraines are ___magnesium, ___kudzu, and ___coleus forskohlii. Magnesium deficiencies are common and can lead to a host of problems, including frequent migraines. Calcium causes blood vessels to contract, leading to the initial constriction. Magnesium is a calcium antagonist, and relaxes blood vessels to help prevent the initial vasoconstriction. For this reason the magnesium should be taken by itself, not with any calcium. This includes with foods that may contain calcium. Recommended dose is ___300mg of magnesium malate twice daily, morning and afternoon, at least 30 minutes before ingesting any calcium sources. If you take a calcium/magnesium supplement this is best taken at night before bed. If you cannot find magnesium malate then ___magnesium citrate is my second choice. Avoid magnesium oxide since it is poorly absorbed and it burns the intestinal wall leading to inflammation and diarrhea.
- ___Kudzu and ___coleus forskohlii are both vasodilators to help prevent the initial vasoconstriction. Recommended dose is 2 capsules of either herb 3 times daily before meals, and in addition at the first signs of an impending migraine. Kudzu is preferred if there are hormonal imbalances. Forskohlii though is an excellent anti-inflammatory since it blocks both inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

__MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
_Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune condition leading to demyelination of the nerves. The trigger is viral, but there is also adrenal dysfunction involved leading to an over production of low affinity (nonspecific) antibodies that mistake the myelin for an antigen. The brain is not the only area affected by MS. Lesions also develop on the spinal cord.

__MUSCLE PROBLEMS
>___Magnesium Malate
>>JS: Many of these symptoms can be attributed to a magnesium deficiency and/or elevated calcium. Calcium is a muscle contractor, which includes skeletal muscle and blood vessels. Therefore, elevated calcium can cause muscle cramps/spasms, high blood pressure, tension headaches or migraines, etc. Magnesium is a muscle relaxant, which is why it is used to treat these problems caused by calcium.
- Also keep in mind that calcium and magnesium are antagonistic to each other. I recommend lowering your calcium intake to allow the magnesium to do a better job of relaxing the muscles. Even in healthy individuals it is best to keep calcium and magnesium intake close to a equal ratio. In some cases though, such as when treating high blood pressure or migraines with magnesium the magnesium intake should be at least twice that of calcium in most cases.

__MUSCLE TIC/TWITCH, RESTLESS LEG
_I would go with ashwagandha, which is calming due to its effects on brain's GABA receptors and from its supportive effect on the adrenals, which produce our anti-stress hormones. Recommended dose is 2 standard capsules 3 times daily on an empty stomach.
_Sage leaf and tyrosine are also both effective in controlling muscle tics. These can be used as an alternative to the ashwagandha if it is not effective enough.
_Magnesium malate can be used to relax the muscles to reduce the tics. Recommended dose is 300mg 2 to 3 times daily.

https://statsdoc.wordpress.com/2015/02/18/the-best-treatment-for-laryngospasm-is-simple-fast-and-free/
_[A laryngospasm is a muscle spasm in the vocal cords, sometimes called a laryngeal spasm. While a mild laryngospasm where you can still inhale/exhale air with difficulty can be frightening, it is usually not dangerous, and typically lasts only a few minutes. There is speculation that it is most common in those who've had tonsils removed.]
_[Stop eating/drinking immediately. Spit out anything already in the mouth. Try not to swallow anything.] Apply firm cephalad and medial pressure in the laryngospasm notch (either one side or both sides) [just behind the ear lobe/s]. [After a few minutes, one may try eating or drinking a tiny amount and swallowing. If there's no problem, it's probably safe to resume eating or drinking.]

__LEAKY GUT
https://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1629095
_Take 6 to 8 ounces of well fermented kefir alone each morning at least half an hour before any other food or supplements in order to get past the stomach acid and then to control candida. And take half a teaspoon of yucca root powder 3 times a day to stop inflammation and leaky gut, as well as to improve adrenal function etc.

__LECTIN ISSUES
- Are lectin blocker supplements a vaid concept?- In my opinion the concept is sales hype. First of all there are different lectins that would require different blockers. And if somehow they were able to block all lectins then this would also block the beneficial lectins. Lectins do have beneficial properties as well including preventing overgrowth of pathogenic bowel bacteria and inhibition of viruses. For example, a lectin in bananas has been found to bind and inactivate HIV.
- Research is being done to see if selective lectin inhibitors can be used to treat some diseases. But blocking all lectins, good and bad, will simply lead to other problems. Just like how we have good and bad prostaglandins. Yet nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) generally inhibit prostaglandins without specification. So they inhibit the good prostaglandins as well as bad prostaglandins leading to problems such as heart attack, stroke, kidney and liver failure, tinnitus, peptic ulcers, etc.

__ LEUKEMIA, HIV, VIRUSES
__ https://curezone.com/forums/am.asp?i=1702474
_The adrenals are a primary immune regulator for the body.  The amla berry [plus vitamin B5, i.e. pantothenic acid] in the Adrenal Tonic also supports the thymus, known as the "master gland of immunity".
_Viruses have a tough time or cannot infect healthy immune systems.  Tests with the HIV demonstrate this the best.  When scientists tried to deliberately infect healthy CD4 cells they were unable to do it.  The only CD4 cells they were able to infect were those of severely immunocompromised leukemia patients.  Another way to look at this is to consider hospital personnel.  Despite being exposed to numerous pathogens on a daily basis they are not coming down with all these diseases.  Yet take immunocompromised patients such as those with cancer or that have had transplants and they are prone to all sorts of pathogens.
__ https://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1546368
_And yes, pau d' arco, and andrographis, are extremely effective against leukemia viruses including the HIV virus.
_Andrographis and pau d' arco can be taken together and even work better combined.

__FATTY LIVER

There are a number of things that can cause a fatty liver. Medications are a common cause; it can also be from hepatitis, nutritional deficiencies, IBS, etc. Bitters and lecithin granules are great choices [without having any additional information to go by]. They also need to look at what medications could be causing this; do they have other health issues that need to be addressed; did they have gastric bypass, etc?

To clear up lung infections mix equal parts of ___chaparral, ___thyme, and ___horseradish powders. Blend them well then fill some capsules. Recommend 2 capsules 3 times daily. The capsule size does not matter since a little extra will not hurt you. So you can use either O or OO capsules. In one of the empty capsules add 8 drops of pure ___eucalyptus essential oil. Recommend 1 capsule with the 8 drops of oil 3 times daily with the herb capsules. You will exhale the oils killing any fungus, bacteria, or virus in the lungs. The longest I have ever seen this take for pneumonia or bronchitis is 3 days.
- Remember to stay hydrated to keep the mucous in the lungs fluid so it can be expelled with the pathogens.

__KIDNEY ISSUES
- http://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1841860
_The effect of nettle leaf is in large part from its nutrients such as silica and vitamin C that help to strengthen tissues in the kidneys, especially the nephrons. Nettle leaf is also great for dissolving both uric acid and calcium oxalate stones and has a diuretic effect due to the potassium content.
_Powder is definitely best. Teas and tinctures lose some beneficial properties of herbs.

_Schisandra berry will help support your kidneys and adrenals as well as the immune system.
_Ashwagandha is a calming herb.  Combine it with astragalus, schisandra and/or jiaogulan.
_And don't forget to "feed" the adrenals with vitamin C and pantothenic acid sources.  Vitamin C sources include amla, acerola cherry, rosehips, watercress, nettle leaf, papaya, kiwis....  For pantothenic acid take pollen, nutritional yeast, seaweeds, nettle leaf, rosehips....
_For detoxifying take bitters and drink plenty of water.
_B vitamins are also important since the liver needs these to detoxify the body.  Natural sources are best such as the rice bran, oat bran, nutritional yeast, seaweeds, watercress, nettle leaf, etc.
_Take zinc, 50 mg daily, to help with immunity and digestion and 200 mcg chromium polynicotinate 3 times daily to help with the sugar balance.

_I know of 4 people that developed kidney failure after taking a single recommended dose of Ibuprofen. [It] can cause sufficient constriction of the blood vessels to cause damage. All NSAIDs constrict blood vessels, which increases the risk of heart attack, also of thrombic and embolytic stroke.
_Nettle leaf (powder) reduces acids in the blood. Nettle leaf also reduces histamine due to its content of quercetin and its support of the adrenal glands that produce the body's epinephrine. Nettle leaf is very supporting to the kidneys.
- If the issue is not with the kidneys then the other likely culprit would be with the pancreas, which stores bicarbonate for the body to buffer acids.
Kidney issues from the antibiotics are still much more likely.

_[Put a tablespoon or more of diatomaceous earth (DE) in a pint or larger glass container of water and let set a few hours. Then pour out a cup without disturbing the DE, then refill the container with more water. The DE is reusable for months. The cup of water contains dissolved orthosilicic acid from the DE.]
_DE does not adversely affect the kidneys, but the small amounts of orthosilicic acid that are absorbed can help strengthen the kidney blood vessels and tubules.
_My favorite herbs for strengthening the kidneys are nettle leaf and schisandra berry. Foods high in vitamin C are also a good choice such as papaya, kiwis and berries. If diabetic or prone to calcium oxalate stones I also recommend magnesium malate.

__Kidney failure is most often caused by pain meds, diabetes, or high blood pressure, according to these two websites.
https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17689-kidney-failure
http://medcapsules.com/info/NSAIDs.html
_According to https://www.wikihow.com/Treat-Kidney-Failure other causes of acute kidney failure include injury, blood clots, urethral blockages, severe dehydration, drug overdose, alcohol abuse, and infection. Following are recommendations.
_Reduce protein, salt, and potassium in your diet.
_Reduce high protein foods like meat, poultry, and eggs.
_Increase fruits, vegetables, and foods that are high in fiber, like soaked flax seeds, soaked chia seeds, brown rice, lentils, and raspberries.
Devour low potassium foods, such as apples, cabbage, grapes, green beans, and strawberries, instead of high potassium foods, such as bananas, oranges, and potatoes.
_Always read the label on prepackaged and processed foods to avoid high amounts of sodium or additives.

__IMMUNE SUPPRESSANTS
The magnesium salicylate was a really bad idea for a couple of reasons. One is that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) deteriorate bones. Secondly they can cause internal bleeding that can be deadly. In fact it is estimated that NSAIDs kill over 16,000 people a year mainly due to internal bleeding.
- This is another really bad idea. Methotrexate is a chemo drug used to suppress the immune system. Prednisone is sometimes used for the same purpose. This is because many doctors are under the false assumption that autoimmune conditions result from an overactive immune system. They are not.
- Balsalazide Disodium is another aspirin-type compound and can have the same side effects such as internal bleeding. in fact worsening of UC symptoms and bloody diarrhea are known side effects.
- on dealing with autoimmune conditions I recommend ___silica, and ___gelatin in particular to help with rebuilding the bone tissue that has been destroyed by the medicaitons. Since there is rectal bleeding I recommend ___licorice root only right now for the inflammation and when the bleeding stops ___yucca root can be included.

__INCONTINENCE
_Mullein root is very effective, but it is not commercially available. If you live in the mountains and are not buried under snow then you can harvest some if it grows in your area. Otherwise I recommend marshmallow root, which also helps to tone the bladder muscles. You can either use the tea, powder or capsules. Dosage will depend on the form you are using.

__INFECTION
Antibodies to a pathogen still remain for quite a while after an infection is completely gone, and they gradually decline over time. Subsequent exposure to the same or similar pathogen can also stimulate antibody responses even without infection. Some antibody levels can remain elevated throughout life despite successful treatment of some infections, such as IgG antibodies in Lyme's disease.
_Stop pau d' arco when it is likely the infection is gone, as you do not want other pathogens building up a tolerance to the pau d' arco to where it will not be effective when you need it again.
_It is not acids causing infection. It is microbes, most of which are killed by acidity.
_How white blood cells kill pathogens and cancer cells is very well known. One of the things that allow them to kill pathogens is the acid ascorbic acid.
_Many of our immune cells use peroxide to kill pathogens and cancer cells.
_Antiseptic herbs such as pau d' arco can help with both infection and inflammation. High doses are recommended throughout the day either as a boiled tea or powder. Chaparral powder is another great choice if you do not have pau d' arco. You can also take magnesium malate or citrate to relax the muscles. Even the contraction of muscles by tetanus is from calcium, which is antagonized by magnesium.
_Puncture wound on thumb: pain into hand and arm; nothing visible under the skin; feels like a needle; rest of fingers are sore too; there isn't any swelling or redness but the hand feels hot; worried, dizzy spells, body and muscles are tense, stomach a bit upset, getting a fever. Blood pressure and temperature are normal.
_Open the wound and put raw potato (maybe grated & wrapped) on it to draw any foreign objects out. Leave it on for a few hours then remove and discard. You can repeat this as needed.
_To clear up lung infections mix equal parts of chaparral, thyme, and horseradish powders. Blend them well then fill some capsules. Recommend 2 capsules 3 times daily. The capsule size does not matter since a little extra will not hurt you. So you can use either O or OO capsules. Remember to stay hydrated to keep the mucous in the lungs fluid so it can be expelled with the pathogens.
_Pau d' arco works against bacteria and other pathogens. It also has more than one antiseptic compound. Pau d' arco contains 18 antiseptic anthraquinones and napthaquinones. It also contains 5 anti-inflammatories.
_Ozone is not only highly antiseptic it also speeds the healing of burns significantly.
_For burns, tea made from boiling pau d' arco (for 20 minutes) then adding a little clove will prevent infection. The clove is also a powerful antiseptic and will help reduce the pain. If you need to speed the healing, add a little comfrey root when boiling the pau d' arco. As the tea cools it will gel up some but this gel is soothing and promotes healing due to the allantoin content. Do not use honey, because it contains bacteria.
_Re sinus infection, if snot comes out thick and yellow throughout the day then this indicate a sinus infection. if it is clear and runny throughout the day, it's more like an allergy related response. The runny nose with spicy foods is common and is known as gustatorhinitis. This is a good thing as it helps to flush pathogens from the sinuses. Sinus drainage is a common cause of throat infections as the microbes in the drainage coat the throat as the drainage runs down. I recommend focusing on adrenals to treat any allergies, and drinking a tea of pau d' arco with a little licorice root to treat any infections in the throat. Make the tea by boiling the herbs covered for 20 minutes then turn the heat off and allow it to cool. Gargling the tea a little before swallowing will help even more.
_Re EBV etc, one thing I need to emphasize is that antibodies to EBV really mean nothing since antibody tests are notoriously inaccurate and CANNOT show the presence of any particular virus. Because doctors rely so heavily on antibody tests though, this routinely leads to misdiagnoses. This includes misdiagnoses of EBV induced diseases, which present the same symptoms as various other disorders. For example, how many people think they have EBV because they suffer from chronic fatigue, which can also be from hypothyroidism, nutritional deficiencies, liver disorders, hypoadrenalism, etc.? It really requires more to determine actual EBV infection and symptoms from it etc.
__SKIN INFECTION ETC
- https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1949373#i
_Tea tree oil is OK, but again I think it is one of those over hyped things.  I personally prefer eucalyptus oil or juniper berry oil to tea tree for infections.

__INFLAMMATION
__See also PAIN, INFLAMMATION
_Chamomile has been shown to help with lowering blood sugar levels in diabetics. But this is probably due to the anti-inflammatory effects of the chamomile increasing insulin sensitivity, and not due to its effects on serotonin levels.
_nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) generally inhibit prostaglandins without specification. So they inhibit the good prostaglandins as well as bad prostaglandins leading to problems such as heart attack, stroke, kidney and liver failure, tinnitus, peptic ulcers, etc.
_Licorice kills viruses and bacteria, raises interferon, is a steroidal anti-inflammatory, helps other herbs to absorb and function better, etc.
_Sage can also be used as a mouth rinse to treat inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nose and throat.
_Yucca root is high in fiber and is a steroidal anti-inflammatory.
_NSAIDs lead to further deterioration of the joints and inhibit healing.

__**INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE See Biofilm Infections http://l00k.createaforum.com/h/health-1-truth-in-medicine/msg59/#msg59

__INFLAMMATORY BOWEL, IBD
https://www.curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1468848#i
_Stick primarily with yucca root and licorice root as they are both steroidal anti-inflammatories and both help build up the flora.
_One thing you should definitely avoid though is magnesium oxide/hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia), calcium oxide/hydroxide, and alkaline waters. These hydroxide sources are irritating to the mucous membranes as hyroxides are caustic. For example, Milk of Magnesia is used as a laxative because it chemically burns the intestinal wall leading to a release of fluid in to the intestines and increased peristalsis.
_The vagus nerve affects the heart and the digestive system. When having a bowel movement people often strain, which stimulates the vagus nerve. In the case of straining it can overstimulate the vagus nerve leading to the acid reflux. By the way straining during bowel movements is also the reason that so many die from heat attacks while on the toilet. Again overstimulation of the vagus nerve. So make sure to get plenty of fiber and water each day. And if the stools are still hard then people can add some slippery elm or marshmallow root to their herbal regime as a stool softener.
_The adrenals help to regulate inflammatory responses in the body. This can lead to the start of or aggravation of inflammatory bowel disorders. Excess cortisol over time can also damage the intestinal lining again leading to intestinal inflammation.
_Yucca root and licorice root both reduce intestinal inflammation and bothy help to build up the adrenals.
_Soft fibers high in B vitamins can help. Rice bran is my favorite.
_Basically the flora ferment the fibers, which are long chain sugar molecules, breaking them down in to smaller sugar units they can feed on. In the process the flora generate beneficial acids such as lactic acid, acetic acid, and fatty acids.

__INTESTINAL INFLAMMATION
http://www.curezone.org/forums/am.asp?i=1715315
- I recommend lots of ___kefir to begin with to wipe out any pathogens that may be present, and ___slippery elm or ___marshmallow root combined with some ___licorice root and ___yucca root to help coat and sooth the intestines and to reduce any inflammation.
